The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering robust relationships, both directly and through the Operations Manager and contract teams.


The primary objective of this position is to assist the Operations Manager and Client Relationship Manager in overseeing essential engineering contracts while ensuring exceptional operational performance and customer service that aligns with client expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver superior service punctually and within the contractual budget.
  • Provide first-line management and leadership to contracted teams, establish team objectives, ensure the quality of engineers' work, and confirm that tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Develop project timelines and budget reports.
  • Manage procurement, deliveries, and external engineering resources.
  • Monitor and record expenses against the budget through regular communication with the Operations Manager and finance team.
  • Attend weekly project update meetings at the Head Office, focusing on project timelines, materials, resources, budgets, and variations.
  • Participate in weekly finance meetings to support timely accounting functions.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, company policies, standards, and initiatives.
  • Adhere to contracts to guarantee that the business complies with all legislation, health & safety matters, policies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate weekly with the Compliance Team to ensure that all necessary documentation is completed by engineers and that high standards of health and safety practices are maintained on-site.
  • Ensure all required handover documentation is provided by the pre-sales team prior to project commencement.
  • Generate 'in-project' documentation, including records of client variations and project risks, and prepare project handover documentation to meet customer expectations.
  • Supervise installation and integration teams, utilizing benchmarking and sign-off processes to ensure consistent quality of work.
  • Foster and maintain effective communication between the operations team and clients, ensuring a clear understanding of personnel involved in various accounts and adhering to structured reporting.

Essential Skills:

  • Exceptional planning and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of staff, contractors, and clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in supervising and enhancing internal and external customer relationships and conflict resolution.
  • SSSTS, ECS Card preferred, along with any other health and safety training (can be provided during employment).
  • Project Management certifications (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion.
