Job Title: High Voltage Instrumentation Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced High Voltage Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Recruitment Solutions (Folkestone) Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of high voltage instruments and equipment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working with high voltage equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on high voltage instruments and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Work with the service manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of new procedures and processes
Requirements:
  • BTEC qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • JIB approved
  • Familiarity with the repairs and servicing of HV products
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems
  • Knowledge of H & S practices within HV
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure and often within time constraints
  • Flexible, positive, innovative and motivated approach to work
  • Full UK driving licence
