Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Sub-Agent to join our dynamic team for a 12-18-month project in York. As a Freelance Sub-Agent, you will play a crucial role in managing and controlling the muck-shift and earthworks operations, ensuring accurate monitoring of levels and quantities throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage muck-shift and earthworks activities on site.
  • Monitor and control site levels, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
  • Accurately measure and record quantities of materials moved.
  • Present detailed actuals and progress reports to the client.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Implement and uphold health and safety standards on site.
  • Deal with early warning and NEC Notifications.

Requirements:

  • Sub-Agent / Engineer from Civil Engineering Background.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and civil engineering practices.
  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (degree or equivalent) preferred.
  • CSCS card and other relevant certifications.
