Senior Contracts Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Manager to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for providing commercial, contractual, and technical interpretation of contracts with key customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial, contractual, and technical interpretation of contract terms and conditions.
  • Lead the commercial evaluation and preparation of contract change proposals.
  • Scrutinize and govern contract change proposals; provide high-quality contract drafting and negotiate proposals through to signature.
  • Own the contract management and contract compliance activities for the programme.
  • Proactively manage customer disputes and complaints.
  • Provide timely commercial advice to project and delivery teams in support of management and delivery of the programme.
  • Ensure that the financial aspects and impact of the contract are clear to all parties.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with the customer commercial/contracts team.
  • Take an active role in the performance of the contract and proactively work to identify risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Operate independently and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
