Job Summary:
Adecco is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supplies Officer Assistant to join our team in North Wales. As a key member of our store support team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Supplies Manager, receiving and processing goods, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Supplies Manager, including maintaining and administering store IT systems, processing purchase orders, and handling general clerical duties.
- Inventory Management: Receive, check, and record all goods delivered to the store, and issue items as requested.
- Stock Control: Perform stock checks, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and monitor stock levels to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including receiving customers, visitors, and telephone enquiries, and advising customers on the maintenance of uniform.
- Uniform Management: Supply and fit uniform to all staff, and arrange destruction/disposal of returned clothing items or stock written off.
- General Store Maintenance: Undertake general store maintenance, including stock relocation, stock checking procedures, and ensuring a safe and tidy working area.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience of working in a similar environment to stores/supplies.
- Basic IT Skills: Basic IT skills, keyboard skills, with knowledge of processing orders/invoices.
- Physical Ability: Fit to carry out duties and tasks, including lifting and handling equipment.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with colleagues, supervisors, managers, and other personnel as appropriate.
Working Conditions:
This is a Monday to Friday position, working 9-5, with a rate of £14.40 per hour. The role requires applicants who can demonstrate skills in the following areas:
