Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at GSL Education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing class cover across various subjects, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality cover lessons, engaging students and promoting a love of learning.
- Support students with their academic and personal development, providing guidance and encouragement when needed.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behavior, using positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, providing regular updates and feedback.
Requirements:
- Experience in an educational setting or equivalent, with a strong understanding of curriculum and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Strong behavioral management skills, with the ability to manage challenging situations and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the school and students.
- DBS clearance and the right to work in the UK.
