Physiotherapist Functional Assessor Opportunity

Maximus is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to assess individuals with disabilities or health conditions, providing detailed reports to support benefit claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with complex health conditions, including chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical, and mental health conditions.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the impact of disabilities and health conditions on daily life.
  • Produce high-quality reports that accurately reflect the assessment findings and support benefit claims.
Requirements:
  • Valid HCPC registration number.
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of the NHS.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
