**Job Summary**
AJ FOX COMPLIANCE is seeking a highly skilled Risk Lawyer to join our team in Bristol. As a Risk Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, particularly regarding contract management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver comprehensive regulatory risk training to ensure all team members are up-to-date on relevant legislative and regulatory changes.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the SRA Handbook and relevant legal and regulatory legislation to ensure policies and procedures are promptly updated.
- Address regulatory risk and compliance issues and queries in a timely and effective manner.
- Aid in ongoing reviews of engagement letters and terms of business to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance on legal documentation, framework terms, and contracts to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
- Assist in the onboarding of firm suppliers, specifically with contract term reviews and due diligence assessments.
- Review client engagement terms, codes of conduct, and KYC advice to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Advise on secondment terms for new and existing secondments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the prompt delivery of client pitches and questionnaires to ensure timely and effective communication.
**Requirements:**
- 4+ years PQE with experience in a risk/commercial legal environment.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
- Proactive approach to resolving problems and a well-organized, confident communicator.
