Our team collaborates closely with international counterparts to audit UK subsidiaries of major global enterprises.

Role Responsibilities

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will take charge of multiple audit projects, ensuring their successful execution while mentoring junior staff. Your role will involve direct interaction with clients, emphasizing a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

  • Guiding the audit team in developing audit strategies and planning.
  • Overseeing audit assignments from initial planning to the finalization of reports, adhering to established timelines.
  • Monitoring time management and ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Serving as the primary contact for engagement leads and clients, keeping them informed of any emerging issues and audit progress.
  • Ensuring adherence to team standards and procedures, with a comprehensive audit file presented and review points addressed.
  • Preparing the audit opinion summary for the Manager and Partner, along with other reporting documents, including group reporting and audit committee materials.
  • Leading and supervising the audit team, delegating tasks effectively, and ensuring high-quality work is completed promptly.

Candidate Profile

We are in search of a qualified professional with substantial recent experience in UK audits.

  • Possession of ACA / CA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading external audits from inception to completion.
  • Relevant audit experience within the industry and services sector.
  • Current technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and IFRS standards.
