Engineering Manager - Overhead Lines

Are you an experienced engineering manager looking for a new challenge? Our client, a leading player in the UK transmission and distribution sector, is expanding rapidly and seeking talented Overhead Lines (OHL) Engineering Managers to join their growing team.

About the Role

In this pivotal position, you will strengthen technical credibility with both new and existing clients while ensuring all projects are fully compliant. You will lead engineering delivery across multiple projects, ensuring that all outputs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage engineering processes and deliverables across the full scope of OHL projects according to the agreed schedule.
  • Oversee engineering management, including delivery updates, change control, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a dispersed and remote team, with proficiency in collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience providing engineering support for OHL construction activities, including planning and execution.
  • Familiarity with engineering management, including schedule and cost control.
