Commercial Solicitor Opportunity

A forward-thinking legal practice in the Thames Valley is seeking a dedicated Commercial Solicitor to handle a wide range of commercial work. The firm works with a diverse clientele including startups, entrepreneurs, charities, SMEs, privately owned businesses, and major multi-national corporations.

The Role

The successful Commercial Solicitor will join a vibrant team consisting of experienced professionals under the leadership of Peter James. The role involves drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, contract reviews, providing data protection advice, and offering transactional support to the Corporate team. The Commercial Solicitor will also be responsible for project management, developing strong inter-team relationships, contributing to knowledge management, and participating in business development activities.

Requirements
  • Significant experience in a commercial firm
  • Excellent communication skills and a commercial approach
  • Regular use and understanding of time recording systems, billing, administration processes, compliance, and risk management
