As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Lead Technical Team Manager to become a vital member of Aiimi Ltd. This role is primarily focused on overseeing a group of Consultants and facilitating their career advancement. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Aiimi Services and engage with the Executive team and Senior Managers.

Key Responsibilities of a Lead Technical Team Manager:

  • Implement people management strategies:
    Define roles and responsibilities, establish a continuous professional development framework, create a performance evaluation system, and develop mentorship protocols.

Foster professional advancement:

  • Contribute to the evolution of people management strategies to align with industry trends while upholding Aiimi's core principles.
  • Participate in the development of the learning and development dashboard and provide insights for enhancements.
  • Set realistic development objectives for consultants.
  • Collaborate with fellow Team Managers to refine and integrate the professional development framework.
  • Engage with Consultants and Apprentices to establish and uphold standards that reflect client expectations and Aiimi's values and culture.
  • Act as a reliable liaison to the Aiimi Services Director and Head of Employee Engagement and Wellbeing regarding performance and wellbeing issues.

Performance Oversight:

  • Execute people management procedures, including a performance evaluation system.
  • When necessary, drive behavioral transformation across Aiimi and client interactions.
  • Support Aiimi mentors in their engagements with mentees, ensuring timely and consistent feedback is documented in the professional development framework.
  • Encourage and cultivate high performance among consultants while addressing underperformance as needed, ensuring thorough and timely documentation.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in team management, including conducting performance evaluations, setting development objectives, and providing mentorship.
  • Experience in a Data/Tech industry or environment is essential.
  • Proven mentorship experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a background in fostering change advocates.
  • Ability to listen effectively, focusing on colleagues' perspectives and proactively understanding their motivations and sentiments.
  • Act as a champion for change, ensuring consultants perceive changes as beneficial rather than imposed.
  • Awareness of market dynamics, competitor activities, products, and services.
  • Understanding of future workplace trends.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
