About the Role

The School of Education at Leeds University is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Tutor to support students enrolled in our esteemed MA Deaf Education Programme. As an approved provider of this vital qualification, we rely on regional tutors to guide and mentor distance education students throughout their journey.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive induction and training sessions for new students at the start of each academic year.
  • Participate in essential university meetings with program leaders to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Provide specialized regional tutorials for specific modules, including Educational Audiology, Learning and Teaching, and Dissertation guidance for final-year students.
  • Offer invaluable placement supervision during teaching placements, conducting two visits over the four-week period to provide feedback and support.

About You

We are looking for a qualified Teacher of the Deaf with a proven track record in teacher mentoring and review. Your passion for providing an exceptional student experience will be instrumental in helping our students achieve their full potential within this rewarding field.
