We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at Deichmann. As a key member of our distribution centre, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Unload and store incoming shipments, checking for any damages or discrepancies
  • Re-palletize and label stock as required
  • Conduct quality checks on stock, reporting any issues to the relevant team members
  • Operate in accordance with our site's Health and Safety guidelines and Safe Systems at Work policies
  • Pick and pack retail and e-shop orders to meet agreed service level agreements
  • Load trailers in a professional and timely manner
  • Accurately receive and reconcile inbound deliveries, ensuring all stock is quality checked and allocated to the appropriate areas within the warehouse
  • Perform manual handling tasks with all products
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and warehouse hygiene

**Requirements**

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Basic numeracy and understanding of written and oral communication
  • A polite, respectful, and professional manner
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Able to carry out physical activity as the role demands
  • Counterbalance, PPT, and Reach truck license holders are preferred
  • Ability to concentrate in a busy environment and maintain excellent attention to detail
  • Passionate about delivering great customer service
  • Excellent time keeping

**Salary and Benefits**

£13.54 per hour
