We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Trainer to join our Plumbing team at The Sheffield College. As a Technical Trainer, you will play a crucial role in supporting students by ensuring a safe and secure learning environment, and ensuring equipment is ready and available for the delivery of learning.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide regular instruction or support to students and others within the Building Technologies department.
- Support and deliver practical training and demonstration to students in vocational areas.
- Assist in the design, operation, and maintenance of student services.
- Demonstrate the use of systems and equipment to staff and students in the Department and carry out general housekeeping duties.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Qualifications in Plumbing/Heating or Construction Related Subject at level 3 or above.
- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) Qualification.
- Recent industry knowledge/experience within a construction-related trade or environment.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Practices surrounding Construction Related Areas.
