About the Role

Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals to our residents. You will work closely with our chefs and kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, including meal planning, cooking, and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Support the kitchen team in maintaining food safety and hygiene practices
  • Assist with food storage, labeling, and rotation
  • Participate in meal service, including serving and clearing tables
Requirements
  • NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation (or willingness to study for one)
  • Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain food safety standards
  • Kind and considerate approach to working with residents and colleagues
  • Ability to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise
