Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with our company's goals and objectives, driving business growth and profitability.
- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors and suppliers for technology products and services, ensuring alignment with our company's values and standards.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings and favourable agreements, maximising value for our organisation.
- Manage vendor relationships and performance, including regular performance reviews and contract renewals, ensuring seamless delivery of technology solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and legal departments, to ensure alignment on procurement objectives and requirements, driving business success.
- Monitor market trends and technology advancements to inform procurement decisions and opportunities for innovation, staying ahead of the curve.
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and regulations, maintaining a high level of quality.
- Analyse procurement data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimise procurement processes, driving continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technology procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong track record of success.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of procurement software and systems.
- Familiarity with procurement laws, regulations, and best practices, with a strong commitment to compliance and ethics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
