Orion Electrotech is seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing costs and budgets for construction projects, ensuring financial efficiency, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for construction projects.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including change orders, variations, and claims, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess progress, ensure quality control, and manage cost implications.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to address any cost-related queries or issues.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all financial transactions and project records.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction processes and cost management.
- Skills: Excellent numerical and analytical skills, proficiency in cost management software, and strong negotiation and communication skills.
