We are Places for People Group, a social enterprise that believes in empowering communities through active living. Our mission is to create healthy and thriving communities, and we're looking for a passionate Swimming Teacher to join our team at Places Leisure.

As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities. You will work in a fun and lively environment with a team of like-minded individuals who share your passion for teaching and swimming.

We are committed to providing ongoing training and development opportunities to help you grow in your role and achieve your career goals. Our Swimming Teachers are expected to hold a minimum of SEQ Level 2 and to be passionate about helping people learn to swim or become stronger, faster, or more confident in the water.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Delivering swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities
  • Working with customers in groups and one-on-one to motivate and instruct them during lessons
  • Building trust and rapport with customers to encourage and motivate them to achieve their goals
  • Continually developing your knowledge and skills to deliver the best possible service to our customers
  • Contributing to the development of our swimming programs and services
