Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist - Locum Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team on a locum basis. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards, ensuring safe and effective use of medications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards, ensuring safe and effective use of medications.
  • Conduct patient medication reviews and deliver expert pharmaceutical advice to medical and nursing staff.
  • Assist with discharge planning, ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medication.
  • Support antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and other clinical governance activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a hospital setting (ward-based experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy and medicines management.
  • Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
