Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Girvan Community Hospital. As a key member of our Catering Production & Services Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food services to patients, staff, visitors, and for functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of food preparation, delivery, and service, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers.
- Participate in cleaning duties related to the provision of catering services, maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace.
- Collaborate with the Catering Production & Services Team to achieve our goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain good communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Good communication and practical skills are essential for this role.
- A current Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, and you will be required to complete this within the first 3 months of employment.
- Previous experience in a large-scale catering environment is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week. You will be required to work alternate shifts, including Monday to Friday, with varying start and finish times.
