We are seeking a dedicated Security Operations Specialist to become a vital part of our committed and enthusiastic Security team at OCS Group. This role involves comprehensive training in security procedures and practices.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular patrols of various areas including shopping centers, service zones, and public spaces.
  • Providing guidance to tenants regarding operational regulations and effectively managing incidents with a focus on minimal enforcement.
  • Ensuring compliance with fire safety, health, and safety regulations while securing the premises.
  • Offering assistance to the public and facilitating shop mobility, with a commitment to customer care protocols.

All tasks must align with the OCS Group Health and Safety policy. The position requires working on a rotating shift pattern, including both day and night shifts, totaling 42 hours per week on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain effective communication during shift changes, including the handover of keys, devices, and incident reports.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and be vigilant regarding health and safety standards.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of fire alarm protocols and act as an evacuation marshal during emergencies.
  • Be familiar with the layout of the facility, including all service areas and emergency exits.
  • Assist tenants and law enforcement during incidents, either in person or via surveillance systems.
  • Administer first aid when necessary, provided certification is held.
  • Utilize in-house communication systems effectively for incident management.
  • Conduct regular check-ins during night shifts as required.
  • Ensure all activities are performed safely and in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Report maintenance needs promptly and be open to further training opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Possession of an SIA license (CCTV & DS where applicable).
  • Experience in building partnerships with clients.
  • IOSH training is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
  • Organized and capable of managing workflows efficiently.
  • Understanding of high-quality service delivery and its significance.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of the role.
