Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all facets of the production workflow to guarantee effective and timely product manufacturing.
  • Inspire, lead, and develop the production workforce to meet performance benchmarks and uphold superior quality standards.
  • Adjust production schedules and allocate resources as necessary to accommodate fluctuating demands.
  • Enforce and uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring adherence to industry standards and internal policies.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams, including Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Maintenance, to refine production processes.
  • Spot opportunities for process enhancements and cost savings, implementing best practices in manufacturing.
  • Prepare and oversee production budgets, monitoring expenditures to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Evaluate production metrics and create reports to guide strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Production Manager or in a comparable role within the food production sector.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the aptitude to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset towards challenges.
  • Comprehensive understanding of production management principles and quality benchmarks.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing context.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Proficient in utilizing production management software and tools.
