About the Role

As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Nursery Manager to deliver outstanding outcomes for children. You will be responsible for leading a team of Early Years Educators, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure that our high standards are met. Your expertise in the EYFS and statutory requirements will be invaluable in inspiring and motivating your team to deliver exceptional care and education.

You will also be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager to meet targets relating to occupancy, revenue, and staff retention. In the manager's absence, you will take on overall responsibility for the nursery, ensuring that our high standards are maintained at all times.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Hold an early years qualification at level three or above and have demonstrable experience of working in a leadership role in a nursery setting
  • Have excellent knowledge of the EYFS and statutory requirements
  • Be able to inspire and motivate a large team to deliver outstanding outcomes for children
  • Support the Nursery Manager to meet targets relating to occupancy, revenue, and staff retention
  • Uphold exemplary levels of customer care, champion partnership working, and promote the company values at all times
