Devonshire is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team in Wymondham, Norfolk. As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, responsible for loading and unloading goods, stacking and retrieving inventory, and performing daily equipment checks.



Main Responsibilities:

  1. Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and minimizing damage to products.
  2. Inventory Management: Stack and retrieve inventory in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to stock control instructions and maintaining a clean and organized storage area.
  3. Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily equipment checks, including recharging batteries and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  4. Warehouse Operations: Assist with loading and unloading trucks by hand, perform picking and packing tasks, and handle stock returns in a timely and efficient manner.
  5. Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste, including bailing shredded paper and compacting waste materials.



Requirements:

  • Previous Warehouse Experience: Proven experience working in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Counterbalance Licence: Hold a valid counterbalance licence and be comfortable operating heavy machinery.
  • IT Literacy: Proficient in the use of MS Excel and other warehouse management software.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and maneuver items up to 22KG, with a strong focus on maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
