A highly respected, successful independent financial services firm, Ferguson Dean, has acquired a leading regional practice in the Stoke area. As such, they are looking for an experienced adviser to join their team to take over an existing portfolio of high net worth clients. There is approximately £150m Assets Under Management (AUM) to manage, with most clients across all ages and life phases. Clients are broadly in the £300k plus space. Clients are primarily in the Staffordshire and Shropshire regions. All paraplanning and administration will be provided, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional client service.

  • Ferguson Dean is a Stoke-based, owner-managed business, with the backing of a regional powerhouse. They are an independent and private client-focused firm.

**The Role**

  • Conduct portfolio reviews with existing clients.
  • Work with the business owner to transition clients across.
  • Identify other needs for clients, as well as any referrals possible.
  • Maintain up-to-date and compliant client files in conjunction with the technical team.
  • Keep up-to-date with Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Actively seek out new client opportunities as required.

**The Ideal Candidate**

  • Diploma Level 4 as a minimum, ideally working towards Chartered status.
  • Ability to manage and maximise portfolios, in line with TCF and FCA requirements.
  • Knowledge of general planning and also ideally VCT, EIS, and IHT matters.
  • Use of Cash Flow modelling, ideally Voyant, would be beneficial but not essential.
