**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. This senior role involves developing firmware and software for our advanced diagnostic systems, collaborating closely with internal and external software teams.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and lead firmware and software projects in partnership with software teams, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.
  • Understand and adhere to the requirements of regulated software development for in vitro diagnostics (IVDs), maintaining compliance with ISO13485 and IEC62304 standards.
  • Maintain software requirements and associated documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Perform formal software verification, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in regulated IVD development, including compliance with ISO13485 and IEC62304.
  • Significant experience in formal software verification, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages, with expertise in Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and bare-metal development.
  • Experience with safety-critical software development, ensuring the highest level of reliability and quality.
  • Competence in working with embedded systems, including interpreting electronics schematics and performing I/O operations.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
