This position is part of the Workforce Strategy, Forecasting and Performance, Reporting & Diagnostics Re-Design team. The focus of the organization is to deliver proactive strategic guidance for Client Protection, facilitating insightful analytics, effective workforce oversight, and financial forecasting complemented by business narratives. The candidate will be responsible for leading efforts to reconstruct the forecasts for both first and third-party fraud losses, providing updates and insights regarding loss performance, clarifying the factors influencing the forecasts, and collaborating with key stakeholders to comprehend recent trends and challenges affecting these forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sophisticated analyses of financial models, market trends, and portfolio data to evaluate product performance and enhance portfolio risk, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide colleagues to elevate their proficiency in various systems, serving as a subject matter expert in multiple business and technical areas.
  • Identify and communicate business trends influenced by economic and portfolio conditions to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate the execution of large-scale projects, such as system migrations or new project integrations, through advanced reporting and analytics-driven insights.
  • Deliver both short-term and long-term loss forecasts, along with analyses of historical and projected fraud loss performance.
  • Develop, assess, and propose innovative methods to enhance forecasting precision.
  • Construct fraud forecasting models utilizing relevant inputs and drivers to boost accuracy.
  • Analyze financial results to extract trends and provide valuable insights to the business and senior management.
  • Support ongoing financial operations for product and loss finance teams.
  • Initiate and lead projects aimed at continuously improving, automating, and scaling forecasting methodologies.
  • Collaborate with finance and key stakeholders to communicate forecast drivers, impacts, loss performance, and reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare, compile, and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly fraud loss reports.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to recurring monthly reporting processes while adhering to all deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fraud analysis and/or financial analytics, preferably within Payment Card or Retail Banking Finance.
  • Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with others, demonstrating leadership and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with executive-level personnel across the organization.
  • Proven capability to present, lead, support, and influence senior management and business stakeholders.
  • Innovative mindset with a willingness to challenge existing processes.

Desired Qualifications:
