Air Freight Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled Air Freight Coordinator to join our team at Colnbrook. As an Air Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of air freight shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate air freight shipments from origin to destination, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and agents to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  3. Monitor and manage air freight costs, ensuring optimal pricing and service levels.
  4. Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue.
  5. Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including customs clearance and insurance claims.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in air freight coordination, preferably within the freight forwarding sector.
  2. Strong knowledge of air freight sales and products, including imports, customs, and CDS.
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, and general PC knowledge.

What We Offer:

  1. A competitive salary of £30,000 to £33,000.
  2. Parking on site and a pension scheme.
  3. After one year's service, company contributions increase to 9% for the Group personal Pension Plan.
  4. After one year's service, employees are eligible to join the Private Medical Scheme.
