About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our client's UK legal team. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the business's growth and development by providing expert legal advice and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to the business on commercial contracts, partnership and collaboration agreements, heads of terms, equipment hire, mobile contracts, screening contracts, IT and SaaS agreements, data protection, and compliance matters.
  • Manage and resolve disputes, including complaints and external lawyer engagement.
  • Support the Quality & Risk team with reviewing and drafting policies.
  • Train unit manager teams across the country on new legislation, best practice, and training.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Legal Counsel or equivalent role.
  • Proven track record of providing expert legal advice and guidance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial risk appetite and ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work closely with the Head of Legal and other stakeholders across the business.
