Job Description

Accommodation and Events Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accommodation and Events Coordinator to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of accommodation and events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage daily reservations checks from all platforms, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Monitor and manage back-ups, comments, and payments, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Check and verify OTA commissions on a daily basis, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Submit weekly commissions on Fastcom, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Update various trackers on a daily basis, including no-shows, cancellations, and other key performance indicators.
  • Manage reservations and booking enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our hotel's bedrooms and events, enabling confident and informed interactions with clients.
  • Arrange and deliver hotel show arounds in a professional and knowledgeable manner, showcasing our hotel's amenities and services.
  • Support group bookings from initial enquiry to final execution, liaising with other departments as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client enquiries regarding accommodation and meeting and events, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Coordinate and deliver exceptional administrative support for events, including corporate bookings, private functions, and weddings.
  • Arrange and conduct hotel show arounds to promote the sale of accommodation and/or meeting space, highlighting our hotel's unique offerings and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identifying opportunities for future business and growth.
  • Provide detailed function plans to hotel operations teams, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of our in-house reservations system, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Respond to all booking enquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences.
