About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Marshall Group. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control Checks: Perform standardized quality control checks on our products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality.
  • Test Equipment Maintenance: Maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement.
  • Quality Reporting: Develop and maintain company inspection reports, inspect goods or products according to quality and safety standards, and report quality anomalies.
  • Calibration Process Management: Manage, control, and administer the calibration process, ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes and lead internal issues investigations, collaborating with other departments.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience working in a manufacturing environment as an inspector or quality technician, with knowledge of manufacturing processes, including MIG and TIG welding, joining technology, metal fabrication techniques, electrical and pneumatic systems, machining techniques, and painting systems.
  • Technical Competencies: Excellent knowledge and experience of inspection processes and test equipment, high-level of visual awareness, experience drafting reports and collating data, and substantial experience of operating in an ISO9001 Quality Systems environment.
