Job Title: Multi-Skilled Train Driver Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Train Driver to join our team at Colas Rail UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of rail grinding and maintenance services. Key Responsibilities: * Drive and route conduct rail grinding and maintenance machines safely and effectively * Report any machine defects to the Grinding Supervisor and/or Maintenance Supervisor * Work safely and effectively to Colas Rail Services Operations procedures * Assist in maintaining quality systems and stabling database * Required to undertake route learning and refreshing as and when required * Will be required to drive all other OTM's such as Rail Milling Machine and Tampers SHEQ Responsibilities: * Work to applicable Safety Plans and Method Statements * Comply with Section 7 of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 * Close Calls and safety conversations submitted as per procedure Competencies Required: * To be able to drive all types of Rail Grinders and other OTM plant when required to do so * Driving Licence * PTS * Fire Training * Emergency First Aid * Driver Mentor * Trainer / Assessor Qualification PPE Requirement: * Hard hat * Bump cap * Eye Protection * Safety Footwear * Torch * Ear Defenders * High Visibility Overalls * High Visibility Tabard * High Visibility T-Shirt * High Visibility Coat * High Visibility Trousers * Respiratory Protection Equipment * Dusk mask Interfaces: InternalInterfaces with Rail Grinding Management, Rail Planning Team, Grinding and Maintenance Supervisors regarding any machine problems and changes to schedules.
