Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily routines, meal preparation, and personal hygiene.
- Support the individual in maintaining a clean and hygienic living environment, including domestic duties and medication management.
- Accompany the individual on outings and engage in activities within the home, promoting social interaction and community integration.
- Develop and maintain a supportive relationship with the individual, promoting their dignity, autonomy, and well-being.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare providers and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Experience of working with individuals with complex needs, including those with Down syndrome and vulnerable medical conditions.
- Ability to provide constant supervision, guidance, and support to the individual.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with the individual and their family.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the individual.
