We present a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Orthopaedic Specialist to join a reputable RCVS accredited small animal clinic in a picturesque market town in West Yorkshire. The clinic is equipped with spacious consultation areas, two distinct wards, and advanced technology including Digital X-ray systems, an onsite CT scanner, an in-house laboratory, three large surgical theatres, and a visiting MRI scanner. You will be part of a collaborative team of veterinary professionals, including a dedicated nursing staff and an exceptional client support team.
Your duties will encompass managing the orthopaedic caseload, which includes fractures, TPLOs, and intricate soft tissue surgeries, while providing outstanding clinical care to your patients during consultations and procedures. Adhering to the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance is essential.
The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered and possess experience in small animal surgery, including proficiency in performing TPLO/TTAs or equivalent, fracture repairs, and complex soft tissue procedures. Demonstrating clinical leadership skills and effectively collaborating within a team is crucial. Experience in supporting nurse consultations and understanding the impact of Schedule 3 procedures on clinic performance and efficiency is required.
