About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to oversee projects across Severn Trent and Anglian Water regions. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the planning, supervision, and execution of on-site mechanical installations for water and wastewater treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and assist in the on-site mechanical installation, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Manage and supervise fitters and operatives in tasks such as steelwork and pipework assembly.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of systems to meet British, ISO, and client standards.
  • Liaise closely with project managers and engineers to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with safety officers and auditors during site inspections.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily reports and non-conformance records.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in supervising steelwork assembly, welding, and site mechanical works.
  • Relevant training or qualifications in coded welding, steel fixing, or similar fields.
  • Strong focus on quality control and continuous improvement.
  • Electrical awareness and training would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in the UK water industry is preferred.
  • A full driving licence is required.
