Mechanical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Government Facility Services Ltd. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on commercial or industrial heating and water systems
  • Ensure compliance with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive workplace
  • Participate in the implementation of health and safety requirements
Requirements:
  • Two years' experience working in a role as a plumber or equivalent
  • Familiarity with relevant health and safety requirements
  • Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
