About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a key member of our Senior Living Team, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our residents receive top-notch meals every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Manage and supervise all aspects of the culinary unit, ensuring compliance with Compass Group UK & Ireland standards and statutory regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional service, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently manage stock, company assets, and team members to deliver quality service while minimizing waste.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all meals are prepared to the highest standards, maintaining consistency and meeting dietary requirements of residents.
  • Hygiene and Cleanliness: Oversee cleaning activities throughout the Court, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or healthcare sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Passion for creating high-quality meals and providing exceptional service.
