Job Summary:

Rutherford Briant is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Assistant to join our team in Chelmsford. As a Treasury Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the smooth management of our cash flows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process cash postings across various entities in multiple currencies.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and coordinate payments via online banking systems.
  • Conduct fortnightly payment runs and ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with month-end activities, including review and clearance of control accounts and monthly analysis reporting for FX hedging.
  • Manage the company mailbox and resolve ad-hoc queries.
  • Administer online banking systems and manage bank guarantees.
  • Support audit queries and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Requirements:

  • Active study towards AAT qualification.
  • Prior experience in an accounting environment.
  • Multi-currency experience (desirable).
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
