Job Summary:
Rutherford Briant is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Assistant to join our team in Chelmsford. As a Treasury Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the smooth management of our cash flows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process cash postings across various entities in multiple currencies.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare and coordinate payments via online banking systems.
- Conduct fortnightly payment runs and ensure timely completion.
- Assist with month-end activities, including review and clearance of control accounts and monthly analysis reporting for FX hedging.
- Manage the company mailbox and resolve ad-hoc queries.
- Administer online banking systems and manage bank guarantees.
- Support audit queries and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Requirements:
- Active study towards AAT qualification.
- Prior experience in an accounting environment.
- Multi-currency experience (desirable).
- Intermediate Excel skills.
