Key Responsibilities- Clinical Practice: Assess, diagnose, triage, and manage patients with complex mental health needs, taking responsibility for a caseload and progressing investigations and referrals as necessary.
- Independent Prescribing: Develop and utilize your skills in independent prescribing, injection therapy, and investigation to provide comprehensive care.
- Programmes of Supported Patient Self-Management: Deliver programmes that facilitate behavioral change, optimize physical activity, mobility, and independence, and minimize the need for pharmacological interventions.
- Care Coordination: Provide tailored care to individual patients, appraising the impact of their clinical status on their general health, well-being, and employment status.
- Leadership and Governance: Lead, manage, and contribute to service delivery, implementing effective clinical governance and communicating complex information to patients and carers.
- Experience in mental health physiotherapy and independent prescribing.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
