Position Overview

We invite applications from skilled therapy radiographers eager to advance their careers within a progressive and award-winning radiotherapy department. Our department operates across multiple sites, having recently expanded to include a state-of-the-art radiotherapy facility. This modern environment is equipped with advanced technology, allowing for significant professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

The department features a range of equipment, including a Superficial Unit and advanced imaging systems. Pre-treatment imaging utilizes cutting-edge CT scanners and virtual simulation software. We also provide an active brachytherapy service, utilizing a remote after-loading brachytherapy unit for various treatment sites.

Treatment planning is conducted using sophisticated software tools, ensuring high-quality patient care. Our department is committed to a forward-thinking approach, supporting radiographers in their journey towards advanced practitioner and consultant roles.

Radiographers play a vital role in the multi-disciplinary team, contributing to departmental developments and participating in evidence-based practice. We are actively involved in clinical research trials, fostering a culture of ongoing professional development.

Ideal candidates will possess strong motivation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to rotate through various treatment and pre-treatment areas.
