Job Opportunity: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a leading private hospital in Chelmsford, Essex. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with patient admission and discharge processes
  • Provide post-operative care and support to patients
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the clinical team
  • Chaperone patients during medical procedures as required
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of patient charges and data
  • Support minor procedures such as ENT, dermatology, and podiatry
  • Maintain patient rooms and clinical areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
Requirements:
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of customer care principles
  • Basic IT skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a healthcare or caring environment, preferably in private healthcare
  • Enthusiastic and committed team player with a flexible approach
