About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher - English Specialist to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education to neurodiverse young adults.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Classroom Activities: Plan, teach, and assess learning, particularly with your assigned class.
- Monitor Progress: Record and track progress, both academically and against EHCP outcomes.
- Provide Inspirational Learning Opportunities: Work with learners to achieve their learning goals, either one-to-one or in small group settings.
- Collaborate with Support Staff: Direct Learning Support Assistants to effectively support learners.
- Identify Areas for Improvement: Recognize when a learner's progress is at risk and suggest ways to improve.
- Be Flexible and Adaptable: Be willing to adjust your approach as needed to meet the diverse needs of our learners.
- Passion for Education: Have a genuine interest in a career focused on the education of people with a wide range of needs.
