The Bedford College Group is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Brickwork and Multiskilled Trades Instructor to join our educational team.

As an instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students by:

  • Preparing, delivering, and evaluating courses focused on Bricklaying up to Level 3.
  • Managing course-related administrative tasks as required.
  • Leading and participating in the development of the curriculum within the Programme Area.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in Brickwork or Multiskilled trades, along with the following qualifications (full training will be provided for the right individual):

  • A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTS).
  • Bricklaying NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification.
  • A Stage 3 teaching qualification (Cert. Ed/ PGCE or equivalent).
  • A willingness to achieve Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 or equivalent if not already held.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent at grades A-C.
