SEMH Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Tutor to support children and young people in a 1:1 setting outside of mainstream schools.
This role is ideal for qualified teachers, teaching assistants, or SEN professionals looking for flexible work.
The SEMH Tutor will work with children to provide face-to-face support, planning resources tailored to their needs, and implementing behavior strategies.
The location for this role will vary depending on the child's needs, but will be pre-agreed prior to commencement of tuition.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging core and cross-curricular sessions
- Applying skills to get pupils' education back on track
- Monitoring pupils' progress and providing feedback
- Experience working with children with challenging behavior
- SEN experience in SEMH
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 16:00.
