Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to drive improvements in workplace safety and efficiency at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards and fostering a culture of safety and inclusivity on-site.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team on-site, collaborating with other teams across the company to drive improvements
- Analyse data reports and root causes to inform safety-related decisions
- Develop and implement health and safety projects and policies
- Design and lead programmes to improve the safety culture in Amazon
This is a varied role based at one of our sites, where you will contribute to many aspects of our safety culture. You will manage health and safety standards, improve functionality and efficiency, and lead your team in implementing changes in response to employee feedback or seizing opportunities for process improvements.
Your role is instrumental in keeping employees safe, managing their satisfaction, and supervising their wellbeing and productivity. You will take ownership of health and safety to foster a culture that revolves around operating safely.
Requirements- Education to a degree level and additional qualifications to an NVQ5NEBOSH Diploma level
- Relevant experience managing a team
- Relevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
