About the Role

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Infrastructure Services Team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a performant and secure distributed Infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Maintain and proactively manage the portfolio of IT Solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Provide specialist level support for incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Solution Design: Architect and design solutions that are resilient, secure, and scalable across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Health Checks: Perform regular health checks to identify potential service improvements and recommend solutions.
  • Project Participation: Participate in projects and service improvements impacting Infrastructure Services, including the identification and implementation of proactive maintenance plans.
  • Service Performance Monitoring: Monitor and review service performance at a component level, producing reports and recommending risk mitigation strategies.
  • Vendor Liaison: Liaise with 3rd party vendors for technical support, build, and maintenance.
  • SLA Management: Meet levels of service in line with published/agreed SLA's.
  • Process Adherence: Adhere to all Pilgrim's Europe processes, including Change Control, Problem Management, and Configuration Management.
  • Out-of-Hours Support: Provide out-of-hours support, including participation in an on-call/stand-by rota.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Deep technical knowledge/specialism of Microsoft system Centre (SCCM, Intune, MEM), Azure AD/OneDrive/Desktop Group Policy/MFA, Windows Desktop Operating Systems/Microsoft365/End Point Protection, and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a specialist architecture/support/delivery role in a medium to large organisation, with significant technical delivery/support responsibility.
  • Qualifications: Formally qualified in IT, either through a primary degree, postgraduate masters, or professionally. ITIL qualified or experience gained from managing in an IT service management environment.
