Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team on a temporary contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving HGV1 articulated gearshift lorries on night shifts, primarily on weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive HGV1 lorries on night shifts, adhering to agency and client regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of break times and adhere to WTD regulations
  • Ensure all paperwork and electronic records are up-to-date
Requirements
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
  • Valid Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 points on the licence
  • At least 6 months to a year of experience in HGV1 driving
  • Good working knowledge of UK motorway road network and WTD regulations
