In this role, you will partner with a skilled Electrical Engineer to address breakdowns and deliver top-notch mechanical servicing, installation, and commissioning of diverse pumping equipment.

This position is suitable for someone with mechanical bias and mechanical engineering qualifications, ideally with a background in pumping equipment, valves, pipe work, drainage, utilities, and water treatment.

Flexibility is essential, as occasional overnight stays may be required. In return for your dedication, you will receive a competitive salary, overtime bonuses, and many more benefits to ensure your efforts are duly recognised and rewarded.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical servicing, installations, and commissioning on a variety of pumping equipment including Pumps, Vales, Pipework, Pumping Stations, and Pump Kiosks.
  • Maintenance and monitoring of equipment.
  • Optimise equipment through troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Respond to service requests and breakdowns.
  • Flexibility for overnight stays as needed.
  • Log work progress in detailed site reports.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and act as a positive company representative.
  • Drive the company van and maintain with necessary tools and supplies needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience with pumping equipment such as Pumps, Valves, Pipework, or similar.
  • Mechanical engineering qualifications.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Flexible to stay away from home if required.
