Position Overview

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is renowned for its commitment to orthopaedic excellence and innovation. The Exeter Knee Reconstruction Unit (EKRU) is a leading facility that addresses a wide range of knee-related issues, including sports injuries, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and complex surgical cases.

EKRU is not only a tertiary referral center for the South West but also a hub for cutting-edge research, currently participating in multiple randomized controlled trials focused on knee surgery.

The multidisciplinary team comprises experienced consultants, senior fellows, specialist registrars, physiotherapists, research fellows, and surgical care practitioners, all dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will have the chance to collaborate with seasoned consultants, gaining invaluable experience in both arthroplasty and soft tissue knee surgery.
